Two Days of Intensive, Hands-On Training in New York City

Introducing the Mastering Workshop, a two-day intensive master class in New York City, by one of the world's most accomplished mastering engineers. The program offers an unprecedented opportunity to learn, first hand, the techniques and methods utilized on countless hit records from one of the most successful mastering engineers in the industry.  The program will be held on weekends to make it easier for full-time students and studio staff to attend. Classes will be formed based on demand.  Apply for enrollment on our registration page and indicate weekend dates when you would be available to attend a workshop.  We will contact you with specifics.

Who Should Attend?

The Mastering Workshop offers an in-depth curriculum designed for engineers interested in learning about and joining the professional world of mastering, as well as mixers and producers looking to broaden their understanding of the mastering process.

Class size will be limited to only six students to allow for individualized attention.

The Workshop

Over the course of this two-day workshop, Meller will:
- illustrate his personal techniques through before-and-after examples of past releases
- detail the steps taken to arrive at finished results
- guide students as they work hands-on at the mastering console on their own program material

The Mastering Workshop will take place at Arf! Mastering in midtown Manhattan, which is owned and operated by GRAMMY-nominated mastering engineer Alan Silverman. With its world-class signal path, accurate monitoring, and spacious, day-lit room, Arf! is the ideal home for this workshop. (To learn more about Alan Silverman and Arf! Mastering, visit here).
